Description:
Set in a 19th-century Estonian village, November blends magical realism, folklore, and dark humor to create a hauntingly unique cinematic experience. The story follows Liina, a peasant girl who yearns for the love of Hans, a local boy who is smitten with a noblewoman. As they navigate unrequited love, the village is plagued by supernatural forces, including spirits, werewolves, and kratts—creatures made of bones and farm tools brought to life by the devil himself. Shot in stunning black-and-white, this surreal, gothic tale reflects the villagers’ struggle for survival, love, and the meaning of the soul.
