Admission: By donation, with suggested amounts of $15 per adult for regular admission and $20 per adult for admission as a supporting patron.
St. Andrew’s Church, St. Johnsbury, in partnership with Catamount Arts, is hosting the first dance of our new St Johnsbury Community Contra Dance series on Sunday, October 27th, from 5 to 8pm. Our caller for the evening is Nils Fredland, and music will be provided by Calico, featuring Eric Boodman on Fiddle & Feet, Casey Murray on Cello, Jesse Ball on Guitar & Mandolin.
The evening includes a short break for a potluck meal, so bring something to share if you are able.
The dances are designed to have something for everyone, so whether you’re a true beginner, a seasoned dancer, or somewhere in between, join us and have fun!
Plan to bring clean, soft-soled shoes to change into once you arrive.
Parking is available on the surrounding streets.
Follow signs for the entrance to the downstairs parish hall, where you can check in, hang up your coat, leave any potluck contribution you bring, and change your shoes.
Dances will be held from 5 to 8pm on the 4th Sunday of the Month in October and November, and then January through May.
