Mark Brosseau and Abraham McNally: Sense of Place

Catamount Arts is pleased to present Mark Brosseau and Abraham McNally: Sense of Place, a two person exhibition of painting, works on paper, and sculpture, which will be on view in the Fried Family Gallery from June 22-August 23, 2019. Catamount Arts is pleased to host the exhibition Julia Talcott: Big Print, featuring prints by printmaker Julia Talcott on view in Catamount Arts Main Gallery through June 30-August 20, 2017. During the exhibition, the artist will teach a Big Print Steamroller Workshop, Monday-Friday, July 17-21 from 9 am until noon, printing on Saturday, July 22 from 9-4 pm. Jon Imber – Curious Narrative

Catamount Arts is pleased to announce the opening of Jon Imber: Curious Narrative, an exhibition of paintings by the late Boston painter Jon Imber. On view in the main gallery from March 27-May 10, 2015, the show opened in conjunction with the Green Mountain Film Festival’s presentation of the documentary Imber’s Left Hand, which was created as part of the Maine Masters series by filmmaker Richard Kane. The film records the artist’s heroic struggle with ALS, more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. Together the exhibition and film represent Catamount Art’s unique ability to integrate film and visual arts programming in ways that expand an understanding of both. Read More

FALLS -paintings by Paul Theriault

Paul Theriault began to work with with wood, paint and paper while he studied as a scenic designer, and began to learn what pictures to make in the years before, during and since, his attention constantly arrested by any appearance of a drip, puddle, pond, or waterfall. When not in the studio, he is a bookseller in Boston, Massachusetts, where he lives with his wonderful wife, son and daughter. Read More

Eric Aho: Toward a Bright Opening

Catamount Arts is pleased to announce Eric Aho: Toward A Bright Opening, an exhibition of representational and abstract landscape paintings by internationally recognized artist Eric Aho. Thanks to the support of collectors Gail and Ernst von Metzsch and the NEK Fund of the Vermont Community Foundation, the exhibition will be on view from Wednesday, July 20 through Monday, October 10, 2016.
