The films are improvised by ensembles of non-professional performers in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont and the Upper West Side of Manhattan. They each focus on local issues relevant to the time and place of production. NEK FLIX and JUWS productions are known for their humor, suspense, unexpected twists and creative soundtracks. The films have been certified as not for profit, micro-budget productions by SAG, the Screen Actors union.
