Boston Sculptors Gallery has recently celebrated its 30th anniversary with the production of a film which documents the founding and trajectory of our cooperative as we moved from a quiet suburban location to the hub of the Boston art scene and established ourselves as a landmark destination for contemporary sculpture in the Boston area. Boston Sculptors Gallery is the oldest and only cooperative sculpture gallery in the country. We are eager to bring our work to new audiences.

Traveling from Boston to the Northeast Kingdom, “Shift North” brings a selection of Boston Sculptor Gallery artists with work reflecting the theme of travel. The scope is meant to be both literal and metaphorical, with a more expansive notion of travel such as migration and time travel. The work represents the diversity of style and approach that is a hallmark of Boston Sculptors Gallery artists.
